Welcome friends in my other world! Indeed I'm also comedian artist in the Troupe "Workadia" of Parakou, while I was univesity student. This talent has become a reality with the creation of the Cultural Non Governmental Organization NONSIAN in collaboration with my director.
"NONSINAN" means "Solidarity" in one of the North of Benin language (Bariba). Create in 2003, this NGO's mission is :
first, to correct the cultural lag in the Northen Benin (Borgou, Alibori, Atakora and Donga) in upgrading all its cultural, traditional and modern values to the word.
second, and last mission is to promote cultural and artistic values and those of Benin in its entirety by highlighting the gender approach: the woman on the stage in every sense of the term and the man too: indeed account held some outdated and unsubstantiated traditional considerations, some parents continue to deny women to assert their cultural and artistic talents: no women to the guittar, to the bass, djimbé etc.
This bad reality in Africa where people prefers to see the woman exclusively in the sales, seams, Hair braid, household, field work,... While they can be the icons of culture (theatre, music, art platique...).
With NONSINAN, the woman is everywhere on the artistic and cultural stage! Then we train them meticulously to become an real artisan.
Our Actions to date:
2008: Creation of a traditional ballet dance in the North of Benin
2009: Training of women in the traditional instruments of music
2010:
-Training for women in modern musical instruments
-Creation of all Prime Orchestra women of Benin
-Promotion of DISQUES female Benin via held at Parakou (Benin) of the first Edition of the " International Festival of the woman artist" called "fifa".
-Creation of a show of theatre for the International Festival of benin Theatre FITHEB 2010)
-Continuous training of women
- Various presentations at the Palace of MARINA, at various events on all of the Benin territory and out of state (Niger, Nigeria...)
Our projects:
-United in 2011 and the Second Edition of the " International Festival of the woman artist" soon referred to as "fifa": all the cultural and artistic world troops are invited; SOS partners financial and technical to support women artists in their momentum of Contribution to sustainable development (strengthening social links) Via their cultural and artistic talents!
-Project of extention of logistics for larger creations and performances in the open air: SOS partners techniques and fiananciers!
-Project of trade inter and intra cultural South South, South North via formations and mixed designs for cultural outgoing, strengthening global social ties for a Durable peace, A sustainable development and African Unity!
-Project of global cicularisation of the editions of the " International Festival of the woman artist" called "fifa".
"The road of sustainable development passes also through the Cultural development of the type approach" (parity) .
